If y'all wanna do something cool, this is a good trip.  It's hard to make a
trip to Washington the same weekend of a Shiai, but Travis Stevens is
amazing.  If you aren't going to compete, but appreciate the opportunity to
practice high-level Judo with one of the country's best, this is a great
opportunity.  I gaurantee you'll walk away from this kind of experience
feeling like a full-belt more skilled than the day before.  And it looks
good on an shodan application (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).  Maybe Kazu could
teach Travis how to do an Uchi Mata?  Seriously, these kinds of events in
the Pacific Northwest are rare, so grab them when you can.

    *In preparation for the 2012 London Olympics, Travis Stevens will be
coming home for a couple days to meet with the local media (King 5 News,
Fox Sports, Seattle Times, Tacoma News Tribune) and to also instruct a
technical clinic for junior and senior competitors as well as coaches. *

*The clinic will be the day after the Obukan Shiai in Portland on April
15th, 2012. This was not the preferred date but because of Travis's
competition and training schedule, it was the only date that would work for
him until the Olympics.*

*You do not need to pre-register for this event but please come with all
forms signed. All non-YMCA members will need to sign a second waiver that
is attached and will be available at the door.*

*Attached you will find the flyer, entry form, and waivers for the upcoming
