For everyone who showed up last night to practice, especially beginners,
below are some tips on proper execution of O-Goshi. Watch the video a few
times and see if you can spot where the talking points fit into the video.
The video is only 17 seconds long. If you can spot all 4 items from the
list in the video, you will gain a better understanding of the throw.

~Keep your back straight and your knees bent as you enter the throw.
~If your feet are wide, you prevent your own throw.
~Do not leave your left foot behind. Bring it completely around, when you
turn, so that it is alongside to your right foot.
~To throw, tori bends forward, straightens his knees, and turns to look
behind himself toward uke's feet. Please note this must happen only after
tori (thrower) has broken uke's balance forward, locked his upper body
against uke's upper body, and correctly thrust his hips past the center of
uke's hips. Throwing is done after these conditions are met.

P.S. this week is Tues/Wed practice. Make sure to come to practice tonight!

thanks
