Some of you folks have already received a notice, so my apologies.  This is
a pretty exciting event for NW Judo, and this clinic represents the
beginning of something big for Judo clubs and Judo instructors in the
Northwest.  Please feel free to share this email with your associates and
teaching staff.

March 15 & 16, 2014 (Sat & Sun)



On the weekend of March 15, 2014, Ojukan Judo will be hosting a 2-day
course designed for the instruction and certification of self-defense
curriculum.  Certification will be available for USJF members, although
attendance is welcomed (for non-certification) for USA Judo, and USJA
members.  If you already have attended a NWJY Self Defense Clinic and have
a Training Manual, there is no need to buy another.  Please bring your
manual to the clinic.  Open to current members of the USJA, USA Judo/USJI,
or USJF.  *Must present current membership card at door.*  Present
completed form at the door or fill-in on site.



*Fees*

Course attendance - $25

Self Defense Training Manual - $35



*Rank Requirements*

   - Trainer (trains and certifies Teachers) - Sandan
   - Teacher - Shodan
   - Assistant Teacher - Brown Belt (Ikkyu)


Upon successful completion of this seminar, students will need to complete
a USJF Self Defense Certification Application.   The USJF self-defense
application will also require a clear background check, and a current First
Aid/CPR certification.
