Obukan Announces Kodokan stye Shochu-Geiko (Mid-Summer Training)!!! Open to
all Dojo's and current members of USJF, USA Judo and USJA!!! Seven Days of
straight Judo practices Starting Monday July 6th - Sunday July 12th!! This
is where your Judo shines... Mind, Body and Spirit are needed to not miss
every practice. Kano Shihan started the event around 1897 to develop the
physical and mental strength of trainees that enables them to stay the
course through training sessions that are held during hot hours of summer
days. In 2014 at the Kodokan it was noted that 113 trainees achieved
perfect attendance! We can do the same at Obukan!!! At the end of the
Shochu-Geiko Attendance Award Certificates will be presented.
